Molly M. Garrett
Northern Virginia Family Law Attorney
Since being admitted to the Virginia State Bar, Molly Garrett's practice
has focused solely on domestic relations and family law. Ms. Garrett represents
clients in the Circuit Courts and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District
Courts in the Northern Virginia area. She has extensive experience in
the litigation of child custody, visitation and support issues; spousal
support; equitable distribution of assets and liabilities; and the negotiation
and preparation of marital agreements and property settlement agreements,
as well as international child custody matters and adoptions.
Ms. Garrett is a graduate of George Mason University and received her Juris
Doctor from Pace University School of Law, in White Plains, New York.
She is admitted to practice law in Virginia and the United States District
Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
She is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Virginia Bar
Association, the Fairfax County Bar Association (where she is a member
of the Family Law Section), the Arlington County Bar Association, the
Alexandria Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and
the Virginia Women's Attorneys Association (where she is currently
serving as Judicial Chair of the Northern Virginia Chapter).
Ms. Garrett was designated as a Super Lawyers® Rising Star since 2010 and
included in their members listed since 2014. She also volunteers as a
conciliator through Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in the Conciliator
Program, a service offered by the Fairfax Bar Association. She has authored
articles which have been published in the Virginia Lawyers Weekly and
Fairfax Woman Magazine.
